It aimed to answer the following research question: How are regulative institutions used to curb members' opportunism in a heterogeneous cooperative of gig workers whilst faced with an external shock? The dataset involves the case of gig workers' cooperative Smart Belgium between 2017 and 2022, thereby covering the COVID-19 pandemic as an external shock.
