Cells were treated individually or in combination with 1 mM of each SCFA for 24 hours under 2D culture conditions. The aim was to investigate the transcriptomic changes underlying SCFA-mediated modulation of renal secretory function, particularly the expression and activity of the organic anion transporter 1 (OAT1/SLC22A6).\n\nThe data were generated as part of a study exploring the epigenetic and signaling mechanisms (e.g., HDAC inhibition, cAMP and PI3K-Akt pathway activation) through which SCFAs influence kidney tubular transporter expression. The results support a role for SCFAs in enhancing renal excretory function, with potential implications for nutritional interventions in chronic kidney disease (CKD) management."}}]},{"typeName":"subject","multiple":true,"typeClass":"controlledVocabulary","value":["Medicine, Health and Life Sciences"]},{"typeName":"publication","multiple":true,"typeClass":"compound","value":[{"publicationIDType":{"typeName":"publicationIDType","multiple":false,"typeClass":"controlledVocabulary","value":"doi"}}]},{"typeName":"language","multiple":true,"typeClass":"controlledVocabulary","value":["English"]},{"typeName":"depositor","multiple":false,"typeClass":"primitive","value":"Mihaila, Silvia"},{"typeName":"dateOfDeposit","multiple":false,"typeClass":"primitive","value":"2025-05-29"}]},"dansDataVaultMetadata":{"displayName":"Data Vault Metadata","name":"dansDataVaultMetadata","fields":[{"typeName":"dansDataversePid","multiple":false,"typeClass":"primitive","value":"doi:10.34894/PH09FP"},{"typeName":"dansDataversePidVersion","multiple":false,"typeClass":"primitive","value":"1.0"},{"typeName":"dansBagId","multiple":false,"typeClass":"primitive","value":"urn:uuid:53af336f-66b6-4870-baa4-3cce9bc2b080"},{"typeName":"dansNbn","multiple":false,"typeClass":"primitive","value":"urn:nbn:nl:ui:13-f474b1c4-dcb2-4f13-afea-10d3b224c46a"}]}},"files":[{"label":"SCFAs and ciPTECs OAT1_design.txt","restricted":false,"version":1,"datasetVersionId":30658,"dataFile":{"id":485519,"persistentId":"","filename":"SCFAs and ciPTECs OAT1_design.txt","contentType":"text/plain","friendlyType":"Plain Text","filesize":3474648,"storageIdentifier":"surf://store:1971dec67c8-a5d1c1922259","rootDataFileId":-1,"checksum":{"type":"SHA-1","value":"caa9753d52075cdbfd38600f60183f4a80e2882a"},"tabularData":false,"creationDate":"2025-05-29","publicationDate":"2025-06-03","lastUpdateTime":"2025-06-03T08:58:09Z","fileAccessRequest":true}},{"label":"SCFAs and ciPTECs OAT1.txt","restricted":false,"version":1,"datasetVersionId":30658,"dataFile":{"id":485518,"persistentId":"","filename":"SCFAs and ciPTECs OAT1.txt","contentType":"text/plain","friendlyType":"Plain Text","filesize":515,"storageIdentifier":"surf://store:1971dec6081-8b4f23f879b3","rootDataFileId":-1,"checksum":{"type":"SHA-1","value":"f3666a4f880856a65c858270189bfcc168c95118"},"tabularData":false,"creationDate":"2025-05-29","publicationDate":"2025-06-03","lastUpdateTime":"2025-06-03T08:58:09Z","fileAccessRequest":true}}]}}}
