TomTom captures trajectories of their navigation equipment, which may be a stand alone device or an in-dash system. The first and last part of trips are removed to protect privacy. Then, all trips with a destination or origin in the Netherlands are tabulated by day of the week, date range, time block, gemeente of origin, and gemeente of destination.\n</p>\n<br>\n<br>\n<p>\nThe data were collected as part of the R2M2P2 consortium (Readying Regional Mobility data for Modelling Pandemic Preparedness) led by Erasmus MC.
