Lynch syndrome was associated with a distinct gut microbiome composition and function, including increased microbial diversity and enrichment of specific bacterial taxa such as Blautia species and Actinobacteria. Unlike sporadic colorectal cancer, Fusobacterium nucleatum was not enriched.
